Many people consider the ladies course at Harewood Downs to be one of the best in Buckinghamshire and the B.B.&O. region, a challenging 5488 yards. with a Standard Scratch of 71 There is a very active ladies section at Harewood Downs currently numbering 140 members. Ladies require a maximum handicap of 36 to join. However, the Club has just started an academy for players with a higher handicap or those just taking up golf. For details please contact the Membership Director or Club Secretary Ladies day is on Tuesday, the preceding Saturday or Sunday being allocated for those ladies who for any reason cannot play on the main day. The results of competitions are announced  on the day at tea.

The Ladies run several teams for scratch and handicap matches against other  Clubs. Mixed golf is now a major feature at Harewood and there are a number of competitions at the Club as well as matches both home and away. The Club runs a number of very successful social events (dances, quizzes, etc) throughout the year.
