Ladies

Many people consider the ladies course at Harewood Downs to be one of the best in Buckinghamshire, a challenging 5636 yards with a Standard Scratch of 72.

There is a very active ladies section at Harewood Downs currently numbering 140 members. Ladies require a maximum handicap of 36 to join. However, the Club has just started an academy for players with a higher handicap or those just taking up golf.

Ladies day is on Tuesday, the results of competitions are announced on the day at tea. There are also competitions at the weekends. The Ladies run several teams for scratch and handicap matches against other Clubs. Mixed golf is now a major feature at Harewood and there are a number of competitions at the Club as well as matches both home and away.

The Club runs a number of very successful social events throughout the year.
